My Lord

My God
protect me from those
those I must call my foe

 ignorant and unrepenting
how can they not love you
the one god that is true
I suffer and cannot disguise
the tears of torment
that pour from my eyes

Lost and deceived
they won't receive
your gift of life
they won't believe
a doctrine of lies
does cover their eyes
program their minds
control their lives

it is the devil that does deceive them
enslave and teach them
to close their minds
to your joy and love
but we will defeat him
and show them
the true god they desire to know
we will break his control

So, I pray Lord
protect us and keep us
as forward we go
to do battle with this ominous foe
in your name Lord
we lay down our lives
it is your Holy Spirit
that burns in our eyes

kill and kill and kill again
my hands are bloody
when will it end

with the passion of the possessed
they fight to the death
when it is only your love
we would show them

but now they say
it is our eyes that are deceived
that you Lord are the lie
the disguise is over our eyes

but, in my heart
I know this is not true
I will die Lord
worshipping only you

forsake you, rebuke you
is what they tell us to do
you are the devil
this cannot be true

they are ignorant
and completely deceived
they are demon possessed
and will not believe

so kill and kill and kill again
I will fight and die
for you Lord
until the end

for when I die
and to heaven ascend
your blessings will exist
for time without end
and we will dance and sing
with joy our voices will ring
in peace and harmony and love
for you Lord
and only you
